Since its founding in 1991, PMCC has assisted construction companies ranging in size from 20 employees to over 10,000 to improve the performance of projects. From the deserts of the Middle East to the Gulf Coast of the United States, PMCC has provided a variety of services to construction companies to help improve the individual competency of their work forces and the overall project maturity of their organizations.

Construction Management
PMCC provides construction managers and associated staff to take the job from the engineering office to the field. PMCC has won several industry and professional awards related to construction projects. Most recently, the Mississippi River “Big Dig” project in New Orleans that was construction managed by Milt Jones, PMP of PMCC was nominated at the chapter and regional level for the prestigious PMI International Project of the Year.

Assessment/Audit
PMCC can provide assessments of individual projects or a portfolio of projects anywhere in the world. Using assessment methodologies including OPM3®, PMCC can generate professional reports assessing project vulnerabilities and offering solutions. Whether the assessment is for a billion dollar offshore facility, a parking lot expansion for a paper plant, a shipbuilding upgrade, an electrical sub contracting job for a superstore,or an IT infrastructure project, PMCC has experienced staff that help.

Process and Procedure
In order to promote the usage of best practice Project Management often involves the introduction of common project management practices across the company. PMCC can facilitate the process of generating project process and procedures that support the organization. From the initial effort to determine the process workflow through the implementation of the procedures and the training of the project and management staff, PMCC can guide, mentor, and facilitate the cultural change that often accompanies the introduction of new or changed process and procedures.

Mentoring/Facilitating
Project managers and project organizations are constantly struggling with issues related to engineering changes, variation requests from vendors, changing site conditions, management’s desire for more information and a host of other issues. PMCC Sr. staff can serve in a mentoring role to help project teams kick off meetings, assess risks, establish roles and responsibilities, and make sure that costs and schedule are truly integrated. We can also facilitate meetings to enable the project manager, project staff, field personnel, and clients to stay focused on the project deliverables.

Teaming
Over the years, PMCC has provided a variety of contract personnel to assist clients on projects. PMCC schedulers, cost engineers, quality personnel, construction managers, technical writers, and document control personnel can assist your team to deliver best practice project management to your client.

Training
As noted elsewhere on this website, PMCC can provide customized training for your construction project team. Courses geared toward knowledge (entry level), skills (intermediate), and competency (advanced) can help your construction staff to do a better job of managing projects.
