Over the last 15 years, PMCC has assisted a variety of companies involved in the utility and transmission industries. PMCC has won several company, industry and professional nominations and awards for projects including the Entergy Nine Mile Five project in 1994 and the Entergy Transmission “Big Muddy” project in 2004. We have assisted individual project team members to become more competent in the usage of project management best practice and we have assisted companies to improve the project management maturity of their organizations.

Assessment and Audit
PMCC has provided assessments of individual projects and portfolio of projects all over the world. Using assessment methodologies including OPM3®, PMCC can generate professional reports assessing project vulnerabilities and offering solutions. Whether the assessment is for a project in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, or the USA, PMCC has experienced staff that can help.

Process and Procedure
In order to promote the usage of best practice Project Management often involves the introduction of common project management practices across the company. PMCC can facilitate the process of generating project process and procedures that support the organization. From the initial effort to determine the process workflow (or change it) through the implementation of the procedures and the training of the project and management staff, PMCC can guide, mentor, and facilitate the cultural change that often accompanies the introduction of new or changed process and procedures.

Mentoring/Facilitating
Project managers and project organizations are constantly struggling with issues related to engineering changes, variation requests from vendors, management’s desire for more information and a host of other issues. PMCC Sr. staff can serve in a mentoring role to help project teams kick off meetings, assess risks, establish roles and responsibility, and make sure that costs and schedule are truly integrated. We can also facilitate meetings to enable the project manager, project staff, field personnel, and clients to stay focused on the project deliverables.

Teaming
Over the years, PMCC has provided a variety of contract personnel to assist clients on projects. PMCC schedulers, cost engineers, quality personnel, site managers, technical writers, and document control personnel can assist your team to deliver best practice project management to your client.

Training
As noted elsewhere on this website, PMCC can provide customized training for your project teams. Courses geared toward knowledge (entry level), skills (intermediate), and competency (advanced) can help your staff to do a better job of managing projects.
